There were so many things covered beyond just selection of equipment. The ability to run through your gear and set up for multiple hours for two days in a row, allowed readjustment of all your equipment. From adjusting straps with the weight of your NODs, to needing to be familiar with switch positions of your aiming device, and knowing where your magazines are for reloads. In addition to this, the difficulty of movement with a loss of depth perception, and performing administrative tasks under night vision was realized. As well as the performance of your equipment, and the need of working with illumination to help create photonic barriers to reduce the amount of bloom and backsplash seen from lasers on reflective targets.

Overall the class gives you tons of information to take back, evaluate, and focus on your own personal training.

This was one of the best training courses I've ever attended. Chuck Pressburg is a great instructor who has a vast knowledge on the course topic and was able to get those in the class with absolutely no experience with night vision devices or lasers to a level of proficiency within 2 days. I walked away from this course with a ton of knowledge that will be life saving and push my teams capabilities to a whole new level. Looking forward to when I can train with Chuck again.
